Do you mean 2001? As in 2015, Dennis Hastert, is not third in line.
If he succeeded to the office in 2001, he would be the most recent farmer, since Jimmy Carter and the only farmer to represent the Republicans in the White House.
I believe that for his Vice President, he would chose, Tom DeLay, from Texas, due to Hastert's close relationship with Tom DeLay with both of them working together, since 1989 but also they are both born-again Christian.

As for the rest of his cabinet, with his support from Republican representatives, ranging from conservatives such as Steve Largent to moderates such as Mike Castle it will be very hard to say who he will pick.
All I would say is, that if Hastert, was President, he would be the Sepp Blatter of US Presidents
