Edward of Lancaster

Edward, son of Henry VI of England, manages to make a daring escape from the battle of Tewkesbury and eventually returns to France. Would it be feasible for him to attempt to return to England after the death of Edward IV? Perhaps his wife Anne Neville is already dead by then, as she was of a delicate constitution. Could Edward have married Elizabeth of York if he were successful?

As we don't know much about his personality (except that the Yorkists presented him as cruel and bloodthirsty) we can only assume that he will give it a go at some point, either on his own volition or incited by England's enemies. He sure as hell won't be Henry Tudor in terms of his modernising vision for the nobility, but the Tudors will have a lot of influence if he wins the throne, so the Court of Star Chamber etc. may come about in a different form anyway.

Depending on whether Anne Neville is taken prisoner by the Yorkists, there are going to be difficulties for both sides. If they are separated, then Edward of Westminster can't father any children until either they are reunited or she dies. Likewise, if Edward is still alive, then Richard of Gloucester will be hard pressed to marry her. He may marry another woman and have a surviving, which will make it more difficult for Edward to reconquer England than it was for Henry Tudor, presuming that Gloucester still seizes the throne (not certain by any means). If Edward wins the throne, he will take Anne back if she is still alive, and marry Elizabeth of York if she isn't.
