I'm planning to do some pages for this, and I've found the winners for 2008, 2006, and 2005. However, for 2007 I couldn't find a winner thread or officialish declarations. I found the polls for them (http://www.alternatehistory.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=65480&highlight=2007+turtledove+awards), but apparently there are run-off polls as well. Can anyone find something better, or will I have to go with the polls?

robertp6165 was in charge of the voting that year, IIRC, cause Glen was away.

Actually, I was in charge of the voting every year up until this year. I pretty much created the award, and the rules for it. Glen took over this year because I have recently started my own business which was taking up so much of my time that I couldn't do it this year.

Although I did suggest the initial idea and created the original creepy Turtledove/Oscar statue.

Then I stand corrected - this old fart's memories ain't what it used to be.
In fact I've noticed a definite tendency of late for me to ramble on and on about completely irrelevant stuff and then lose my train of ....
...um, what was I talking about again...?
