Yea I remember that show put it along MIB and godzilla the serie :D

Although I damn wish it didn't end up in a clifhanger!

The reason is companies realised they could make employees come in on Saturdays, and this, combine with more women working, caused many kids to wind up in day cares on Saturday morning. With their primary demograpic gone, most basic cable stations dumped their kid shows in favor of more adult-oriented entertainement.

I remember watching that episode.
It also reminds me of an episode of Whare on Earth is Carman San Diego? The one whare Carman prevented the American Revolution from happening.
