in '95 after the last secession attempt, national geographic published a map showing how the areas of quebec voted on the issue. does anyone have that map, or have any map showing which areas of quebec voted heavily in favor of secession and which voted against. thanks for any assistance.

Okay first off, what's with the colour scheme? Red for Soverignty? Blue for Federalism? What kind of sense does that make when the flag of the Canadian confederation is Red and the Province of Quebec is Blue?
Second the Scale. Most of the important battleground areas were in Montreal but you can barely see it on this map!
Third, the North. I though the Far north voted Federalist. I know becuse I clipped an article from the "Edmonton Journal" (a Southam Paper) about possible partitions of Quebec. It shows the North going Federalist. If I had a scanner that worked I would post it on here to show. I looked but I cannot find it on the net.

i too thought the north had voted federalist, with the cree and other first nations wanting to stay within canada rather than an independent quebec.
