1527:
France:
1527 Spring: While the entire nations was preparing for "Great adventure in Africa," for the honor and glory of the Holy Trinity and France, many Parisian merchants were still convinced the King’s great dream, of colonizing Lower Norasia. Many were dismayed to learn of the great distance, however, these merchants were not. They were led by the recently created Duke of Guise, who wished to counter the Portuguese presence in Lower Norasia. With the King’s grant, the Duke of Guise and his followers founded the La Compagnie française du Bas-Norasie, French Lower Norasia Company. A group of ships departed with some merchants, sailors, soldiers, and trade supplies to find suitable locations for settlement, trade, and colonization in Bas-Norasie.
Norasia:
1527-1530: The French expedition took off in the spring, and after stopping on the northeastern coast of Lower Norasia, they stopped again in the southern cone, restocked, and sailed north again, until the reached a large native empire.

Southern Cone is Tierra Del Fuego. Yes, it is a long way. France is big enough and rich enough to pull it off....whether they can keep it is a different thing....

During the Height of battle, the General is shot and killed, before he dies he tells Ivan to remember his training and win. Taking command of the Russian Forces, Ivan uses the same tactics that Wolter von Plettenberg almost beat his Great-Grandfather with 30 years prior, beating the superior Crimean forces. Ivan is hailed as the Savior of Moscow.
At the end of the War, the Kazan is reduced to a fraction of its original size, and made into a vassal of Russia. The rest of the territory is divided between Russia and Sibir.
The defeated Astrakhan and Nogai Horde agree to join together to help counter the Growing Sibir Khan’s influence. The new khan is renamed the Volga Horde and encompasses all of the Astrakhan and Nogai Hordes old territory.

I would like to clarify that these Kingdoms are not in India, but are in the South Asian island known in 2007 OTL as Sri Lanka. As http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_Sri_Lanka shows, there are plenty of names that the Portugese could choose for this island. If no one objects, I propose that we go with the most likely choice and call the island Serendip. (Note: if Portugal annexes these Kingdoms, they could become part of the Portugese "State of India" colony, of course -- that's Portugal's call. I just want the header to be clearer).

Gowa and Marege
1527
The first foreign trading post is set up beyond Cape York, by Galesong. Trading deals are established with the local population.
Early in the year, first contact is made between the crew of the Sambo Daeng Niaseng Karaeng Patingalaong and the Gunditjmara people.
The Gunditjmara have a vast system of eel traps, manufactured swamps and permanent villages in southwestern Victoria. (This is OTL; look it up!) Their society is the most advanced in all of pre-contact Australia. Trade is bartered between the Sambo Daeng Niaseng Karaeng Patingalaong and the Gunditjmara. The smoked eels obtained are of the highest possible quality, lasting in storage for years.
The first large-scale Alcheringa Hindu temple is built in Yolgnu lands.
An overview of Marege at this point is necessary. Over 20 nations have contact. 7 nations, mostly Sulawesan principalities, have territorial claims, although these are conflicting and frequently break out into violence. There are 21 trading posts in Marege, ranging from small, semi-permanent stations to large towns. The area from the Kimberleys in the West to Cape York in the east is mapped and heavily explored. The Maregan population range from highly assimilated into the norms of Sulawesan society (the Gunbalang) to hostile and xenophobic (elements of the Yolgnu, although this varies between villages) to uncontacted (most of the continent). Inland explorations are beginning.
Approximately 75% of the Maregan population in the Top End live in fishing and trading villages. Such trends are becoming evident across the north of the country.
By the end of the year, the Sambo Daeng Niaseng Karaeng Patingalaong has passed OTL Perth.

Remember trips from engaln to austrialia/Indonesia took 3 years at this time, and merchants still made enuff to continue the trading.
Vovages around the Horn wouldn't be any longer.
