Based on today's world, I propose to build a possible TL (not ATL because we're talking future here).
Some thoughts that might be explored:
- The Middle East: - The continued Israely/Arab conflict
- Irak: future stable country or is a bloody civil war unavoidable in the near future?
- Europe: - Will the European Union finally have a constitution?
- Will the EU acomplish it's goal of a unified voice and defence?
- Will the EU accept Turkey's entrance to "Fortress Europe"?
- Americas: - The usual economic dificulties in Latin America.
- The US global policies of the near future?
- Will Canada stay together or will we see and independent french speaking Quebec giong solo?
- Africa: - The usual civil wars across the entire continent.
- Will South Africa finally became the first truly developed country of sub-saharian Africa?
- Asia: - The Pakistani/Indian conflict. Will they finally come to a peacefull settlement or is this the perfect gorund for the first war between two nuclear powers?
- Central Asia: Will the muslim central asiatc republics continue orbiting the Russian Federation or will they come closer to the other muslim countries?
- China: Will they finally became a military and economic global superpwer? And what of Tawian?
- Noth Korea: Will they contunue isolationist or will finally freedom finally shine on Pyong Yang?
- Japan: will the economic giant continue to be a political and military midget in global affairs?
Let's here your ideas and I'll try to compilate them into a logical chain of events.
