The AH.com Planet Federation of Nations is a concept we'd like to introduce to you all. An organisation fostering peaceful international diplomacy especially in times of potential conflict. However members are free to discuss all issues and topics they feel are important, whether it be trade, border disputes, humanitarian crises, diversity should be the aim of discussion.

The AHPFON is also a place for finding reasonable and beneficial solutions for important problems such as poverty, famine, environmental degradation, racial discrimination along with many others. And although, it was stated above that diversity was to be appreciated in diplomatic discussion, any irrelevant, immature or derogatory comments will not be tolerated and will be discarded from the record.

Although, it is our sincere hope that such an organisation will breed democracy and freedom across the world, we invite all nations to consider this concept and to hopefully join in creating such a concept.

We will further elaborate on the basic structure, voting processes and a human rights charter.

WE wish all nations joy and prosperity and we hope, there will be contact soon in regards to this.

King Aozhouhuaren II and Prime Minister Sir Anthony Johnstone Parker
The Kingdom of Luongia and The Protectorate of the Isles of Carlbandos

All nations are free to sign up, however due to small size of the international community, after the organisation has reached a membership of 20, all other nations who have applied will have their status pending. These nations will provide reasons of both the appropriateness and benefits of their membership into the AHPFON.

After the delegates for such a nation have provided such reasons, the existing members will vote for or against general membership.

The voting process is simple, as shows,

If a member supports a nation's induction into the organisation, then the following is to be typed:

"MEMBER" votes for "Nation's" membership into the AHPFON

if a member shows no support; along with the vote against a nations membership, a detailed reason must be given to explain the disapproval

"MEMBER" votes against "Nation's" membership into the AHPFON

Explanation:

A majority of 60% support must be reached for a new nation to become a member of th AHPFON. If the application for membership has been declined, a nation cannot apply for membership again for another year.

Very good! Its good to hear at least interest in this admirable concept.:)

On the contrary, it will gather nations together in order to create an environment of useful diplomacy and for preventing violent conflicts.

Are you in, Locke?

I shall steer clear of such a union. However, I will be an observer of AHPFON-much like the Vatican City is an observer of the UN.

Of course Birdy, Luongia is very interested, our industrial capabilities are still in a very infantile stage and we still need to import a few goods.

Luongia, by the way, has a large surplus of food that it wants to export to other nations as well as large amounts of minerals and metals.

As for AHPFON matters,we do truly wish it gathers more member to truly be more effective. I think our leaders will elaborate further later in the day on the concept to get more nations interested

Chang Feng, Trade Minister
Kingdom of Luongia and The Protectorate of the Isles of Carlbandos.

OOC: Well if I must, I will revive the whole bloody thing by itself, but I hope I will not have to do so, its a marvellous idea for a game, more people should participate, its hardly out of access, in fact since it has a separate forum it should be easier to access, since there aren't hundreds of other threads drowning it out.)

what we need here is grain and wheat, so i propose we send medicinal products as well as coffee, tea and cocoa and sundry other items you might not have (do you?).

do you you wish to sign a trade agreement, our first shipments are ready to leave port- we got coal and timber to through in as well.

(OOC i agree this is a good idea)

Luongia is willing to sell you rice and other grains in large quantities, we need medicinal supplies and industrial goods in return, timber would be appreciated as well as our government has placed strict environmental conservation laws for our existing jungles and forests.

Unfortunately we produce coffee, tea and cocoa in huge quantities, so the goods mentioned above will do for the mean time.

Meanwhile, also talk to our Protectorate, we are sure they have plenty of goods to offer as well.

(OOC: Thank you very much, by the way, more info about the AHPFON will be up and please get some people interested for gods sake)

Office of the President
Port Chester, Schuylkill State
Republic of Sylvanus

The Republic of Sylvanus politely declines to join this new league. This is simply due to our small population size and the economic reality that we can only support a certain number of full-time diplomats. We wish you luck in your endeavor.

Sincerely,
President Timothy Keck
Prime Minister Luke Glogg

Well in time, when your nation grows larger in population and stronger, we hope you will reconsider this marvellous opportunity. Thank you very much for your warm wishes. May your nation prosper and may we see in you as a member in the future.

Of course although we regret that you have declined the offer, I am interested in taking the opportunity to offer you a trade deal, we need industrial goods. The trade minister Mr Chang noticed that your nation produces a surplus in industrial goods, however your research level is incredibly low, thus may we offer a technological exchange in the form of medicinal goods, engineers, and guaranteed university places for Sylvanians?

Please consider this offer, we understand, if you decline it, but I believe it will be a wonderful opportunity for your nation and its always good to foster friendships.

If the application for membership has been declined, a nation cannot apply for membership again for another year.

Is that a year in realtime, or a year in game time?

A year in game time (24 days), a year in real time is a bit too harsh, plus someone will forget their application in that time anyway, hell some people would forget after 24 days.

But this isn't anything really to worry about yet, since the AHPFON only has 4-5 members at the moment anyway.
