a thread for that area above Central Asia and China...Mongolia, Siberia, etc...1502 Kashgar, Xinjiang: Twins are born to a Uyghur couple, the mother of the twins being the sister of the _pir_ (holy man) for the community.(ooc: the only Xinjiang name I've found lately is _Ma Zhongyin_, he's Hui Chinese from Gansu in the 20th Century; well, him and a Kazak named Osman, also 20th Century)

Will this develop into some specific nation? If so, I can change the name of the thread.

As far as I know, the Uighurs haven't been a Nation for over a century...not since the T'ang Dynasty. they might become one again, but no time soon....I want to confer with the regional nations *once the twins grow up*. that and this thread can be used by anyone else in the area.
