The territories of AF6 that made up Middle Congo and that small bit of Angola

Name: The Joint Imperial and Royal Territories of New Austria and the Austro-Hungarian Congo (The Austro-Hungarian Empire)
Capitals:
New Austria: Franzjosefsburg
Austro-Hungarian Congo: Brazzaville
Population (ISOTed Areas):
New Austria: 98,765 White settlers.
Austro-Hungarian Congo: No offical census.
History:
In this TL, a concerted anti-war effort from the United States during the opening events of WWI culminated in the Boston Peace Conference in December 1914. Austria-Hungary places a puppet on the throne of Serbia, and Serbia pledges permanent neutrality towards the Imperial and Royal Government. Germany, having overran Belgium, originally thought of annexing the country, but Belgian negotiaters were able to get the Germans to settle with just Belgian Congo. Over French protests, French Equatorial Africa was granted a joint German-French mandate. Yet Austria expressed interest in an African colony. Through some elaborate diplomatic pulling with the French, Austria was granted the Middle Congo, in exchange for an undisclosed sum of money, and Germany was to cede most control of the rest of the area to France. Soon after followed a disasterous five-year period in the "Territories of New Austria", in which blacks on coastal territories were slaughtered or forced inland, to make room for black settlers. After the atrocities wre revealed, Austria was forced to reorganize the territory into two parts: "New Austria", the white-settled areas on the coast, and "The Austro-Hungarian Congo", a much larger zone, consisting of most of the colony. There has been recent unrest in the AHC for an end to Austro-Hungarian rule.
Present Government:
New Austria has some self-rule, and is a constitutional monarchy under Emperor-King Karl I.
Prime Minister: Kurt von Renner
The Austro-Hungarian Congo has no self-rule, and is ruled by a joint Vienna-Budapest agreement.
Imperial-and-Royal Representative: Gen. Franz Schalss
Economic Development:
The economy of the area depends on lumber mostly, as well as several mines farther inland. New Austria's main employer is the government, and that colony's economic livelihood, and basically it's entire existance depends on Austria-Hungary.
Military Development:
There is a major armed branch of the Austro-Hungarian military in the AHC, mostly to control the native uprisings for independence. Other than that, the area was basically forced to rely on Austria-Hungary for military forces incase of invasion. Being ISOTed to another world was not expected, of course.
Flag:
New Austria uses the Red-White-Red of Austria.
The AHC uses the Red-White-Red/Green Joint Austria-Hungarian flag on government buildings, and flag burning protests.

The rest of AF6

Name: German Congo, a territory of the German Empire
Capital: Wilhelmsburg (OTL Kinshasa/Leopoldville)
Population: Around 25 million
History: The German Congo history was a period of little settlement, and little activity. Many of the companies that did buisness in the Congo were allowed to do so, and the major change was that Leopoldville was renamed after Kaiser Wilhelm. The area enjoys prosperity, and though there is resentment by the blacks for not being able to participate in government, the only group advocating independence (The Congo African Liberation Organization, CALO) is very unpopular, even with blacks.
Present Government: Whites are only allowed to vote, all decisions by the Parliament of the colony may be voided by Germany.
Prime Minister: Karl von Brandenburg
Economic Development: The Economy of the German Congo is based almost completely around the exploitian of that area's abundant national resources, however, the economy is in far better shape than the Austrian colonies.
Military Development: The mighty German Army stations several divisions in the Congo, mostly to help it's neighbor to the north, which it is (often grundgingly) bound to by treaty. The High Seas Fleet maintains one battlecrusier, the Bayern in the area, and has the facilities to build more ships if need be.
Flag: See attachment. German Empire flag, with the arms of the colony, a blue field with a white wavy line, representing the Congo river. Elements borrowed from Belgian administration.

The Jewish Agency doesn't have any official Military, It does have 75.000 Police, Like the British Locals Most of these are also ex European Soldiers. Officially forbidtion to carry Weapons, Their Uniform includes a Quarter Staff. It has been pointed out [several times] that when parading the police carry the Staffs in Riffle type positions. They also have about 300 WW1 war surplus Fighters they use for Mail & Messages.

Refugee Camps These don't even have any official police, supposedly the Agency police handle the camps, But with the large number of recent Austrian Soldiers. Combined with the Ex Soldiers that were already there. The Camps have become lots more organized. With civilian patrols. Marching around maintaining order. [think POW camps here]

Name—Empire of the Lakes

Ruler-- - Pharaoh Tusekamu Nagast Nagest {King of Kings}

Economy--- This is the Mederterrain Area of my Bronze age Siberia. A land of thousand of Lakes they never developed the art of Iron Smelting. Unlike my Siberians they are fully into the Bronze age. They are one of It's Timelines Great Powers. Importing Copper and Tin from as far away as the Great Lakes, and exporting finished Bronze, Glass & Porcelain. [the Art would make any Ming Emperor green with envy] But most is made in Craft Factories, for the Cheap export trade. They have a World Wide Trade Empire, With Sailors undertaking three and four year voyages, most crews are Co-ed, and most sailors Kids grow up on the ships. The population is around 32 million, The Agricultural Revolution is only several thousand years old. And has not spread to the Hinterlands [Siberia- north Europe-etc.] . And while they look to their Past as a Warrior People, Close to 80 % of the Population are Land Workers. The empire also controls the Great Canal across the Suez [120 ft wide , 25 ft deep]

Military--- [ISOTed] The Empire has close to a 500.000 Highly disciplined, & trained professional Soldiers, divided between the Navy 90.000 with 800 war Galleys spread from Tripoli to the Red Sea. The Infantry 250.000 [think Roman Legions here] The Calvary 60.000 riding Pygmy elephants [slightly larger that a Clydesdale or a Shire], brought back from Crete 5.000 years earlier, and bred for this. Archers 75.000, [both Long and Cross] and about 25.000 artillery, [catapults, Stingers, Orangers, with 5.000 years of development].

History--- If you have ever watched a pot of rice boil, the water rolls up the outside then to the middle and down again, taking the froth of the rice with it. Deep beneath the earth the Magma wells up the same way. Where it Hits the mantle it splits, with the Corollas forces causing it to go east/west, tearing the Crust apart and forming a rift. But as you watch every so often a hic-cup occurs and for a few seconds the bubbles stop and go in weird directions, then normality returns and rolling resumes.

10.000 BC [limit of PODs] One of these Hic-cups occurred under the Middle of the Great African rift. For 500 years [a blink of Geological time] the Bubbles flowed Northeast/Southwest. This formed the start of a crack, running to the northwest. Then the Corollas forces reasserted themselves, and the normal flow resumed.

This Hic-cup was not with out effect on the Surface, the Whole Hic-cup was a period of Earthquakes, and the end was no exception, In area that Humans in some TL would call Khartoum, just north of where two rivers meet, a 12 point Quake, caused two opposite Mountainsides to slip. Covering the river valley with a wall of rock 4-500 feet high and 5 miles long.

For years the river flowed into this new pool, deepening, widening and looking for a way back to the Sea. Finally after reaching a depth of 400 feet the water found the Crack, flowing northwest, it slipped off a 1000 foot embankment into one of the thousands of depressions that dot the Libyan desert. Having filled it, the river went on to the next and the next. Snaking it's way across the desert it finally reached the Sea, 150 years, and 900 miles to the west. The large number of lakes ranging from lake superior size down to a few acres. Changed the climate in the area, allowing a large green and fertile region with large semi arid grass lands [great plains/sahel] to either side.

In time people settled around the Lakes on Houses built on pilings for protection. Small kingdoms arose till about 6.000 years ago one powerful kingdom started conquering It's neighbors. Today that is the line of the Nagast Negest. The lakes lead to Sailors and Fishermen, they Made their way out into the Mederterrian, and it time founded trade colonies around the sea. From there they travel down the coast. About 2.000 years ago they were blown to a new land to the West , with new trade. Some explorers travel east , while others traveled west. Till 1200 years ago the two groups of explorers meet each other.

Religion-- The religion of the empire believes that your spirit lives on as long as someone knows your name. There fore There are lots of Statutes of people, and long lists of forebearers, the King also have their likeness carved into the landscape. Some of their carvings rival Mt Rushmore.

During the Great War they kept a neutral policy as, althought they were eager to attack Spanish Africa their close alliance with France did not allow it, as they expected to atract the hispanoafricans as allies.
After the war, with the proclamation of the USSR in France the sultan decided to ally with the German Empire ceding some bases. As they have had some clashes with the ottoman Empire they have not been willing to cooperate with them.

Military: A huge army of 150,000 men (most of them cavalry and some old guns).

With the help of german advisors they were creating a small modern army with some mechanized units (50 old german Löwe-VII tanks with 29 mm guns), some air units (three scouting rigid airships armed with machine guns), ten biplanes and six bombers and a modern navy (two destroyers, one submarine and six armed merchants).

The new "german" units were deployed on ISOTed areas, as well as, 20,000 cavalrymen and 10,000 infantry troops.

As my area has changed the Sultanate of Tumbuktu ISOTed army is now:

Military: A huge army of 150,000 men (most of them cavalry and some old guns).

With the help of german advisors they were creating a small modern army with some mechanized units (50 old german Löwe-VII tanks with 29 mm guns), some air units (three scouting rigid airships armed with machine guns), ten biplanes and six bombers and a modern navy (two destroyers, one submarine and six armed merchants).

The new "german" units were deployed on ISOTed areas, as well as, 70,000 cavalrymen and 30,000 infantry troops.

Global Federation - South African Directorate
(Madagascar & Cape Republic)

Current Government: One-world community, an 'Federation' of multiple local 'nations', with pupet governments instaled at their heads.
Prestident (Global federation) : John Styels
Priemr: Shawn Easton
Geography: South Africa and Madagascar, and some scaterd Islands

Economy: corn, wheat, sugarcane, fruits, vegetables; beef, poultry, mutton, wool, dairy products, mining (world's largest producer of platinum, gold, chromium), automobile assembly, metalworking, machinery, textile, iron and steel, chemicals, fertilizer, foodstuffs

History: In 1350, the British began an empire, launhing a suprise attack on france, and take her. Over the next few years, the british eventually take over eurpoe. in order to defend themselves, the other nations of the world join forces to protect themselfs, and defeate the british, taking all of their territory. After divideing the new lands among theirselves, the mid-east, russian, and african nations decide to contiune with their conquest. The Gloabl Federation (not call that at the time) is formed. In 1550, they discover the new world and claim it for themselves. The empire grows untill 1890, when its grip reaves across the world. Throughout this time, many uprisings occur, but are vanquised by force, or by negotiation. The negotiations eventually extended the right of 'Self-rule' to all the member states.

In 1910, the empire is showing sings of deteriorating, signs only seen to the uper echelon. More Directorates are demanding more rights, and enforcing the GF's power in the out lying areas is becoming harder to do.

The Directorate of South Africa has almost total indepencence within the GF, as the GF's madates are becoming less enfored in the land, 1000's of miles away from Rome (the capitol).

Tech: 1939

Military: 100,000 GF troops, and an aditional 50,000 Cape Republic MIllitai. 5 150-plane airforces, and 3 fleets (1 Aircfat carrier, 15 Destroyers, 25 battelships, 50 escorts and 100+ patrol craft per fleet)

25 Battleships this is a huge fleet . and only 15 Destroyers you should have some crusiers instead of battle ships rember they are very expensive .
rember France could not afford to buy very many between WWI-WWII.

Isn't it a huge army for a region in an united world? What is the reason for having such a mamouth? I would expect some militias, politial forces and an small navy and airforce for support.

That feels a bit better as a fleet size, and if we presume that in the pre-ISOT ATL it served as the fleet HQ for the S Atlantic and S Indian Ocean etc then it would be OK

I think your 100,000 troops have to include the reserve. I can't see a reason to have a huge army under arms unless of an immediate threat nearby. If you look at historical OTL sizes for when Britain held S Africa and was surrounded by potential enemies you will see what I mean

I made the military larger, becuae (secretly) there is lots of political turmoil with the GF.

100,000 includes reserves (and boarder guards)
50,000 militia is police/fire/ems and basic other paramilitary funcitons. (includes reserves)

My Middle East region... a Catholic police state theocracy dealing with Islamic terrorism, in a world that never discovered America. Somewhat implausable, yes, but I was more thinking "What kind of nation would I like to play in DME" than "What would make a good TL".

The Catholic Archdiocease of Innocentopolis
Capital: Innocentoplis (In Southeast corner, named for Pope Innocent)
Government: The Patriarch and the Archcardinal of Innocentoplis share power, both are appointed by His Highness the Supreme Temporal and Spiritual Most Catholic and Christian Pontiff, Holy Emperor of the Roman Empires, Bishop of Rome... John Manuel I. The state is ran as a strict Catholic Theocracy, with other religions forbidden by peanalty of death.
Patriarch of Innocentoplis: Innocent II
Archcardinal: Muhammad Al Laden (shot to death an hour before the ISOT)
History:
In this timeline, a decision by the Electors and Cardinals resulted in the fusion of the positions of Holy Roman Emperor and Pope, and eventually, the job of Byzantine Emperor was added to the Pope's title. The Papal Empire eventually grew to rule over most of Europe and Anatolia, however, the Islamic Caliphate in the south grew as well. The stage seemed set for an epic battle. For hundreds of years, the Popes and Caliphs eyed each other angrily, hoping for the other to make their move. Both religions slowly, but secertly became stricter in their doctrines, and ended up ruling their Empires as virtual police states, fearful of the other infiltrating. In 1889, the situation finally happened, as a Venetian ship exploded while docked in Islamic Tangiers. The Pope immediately blamed the Caliph, while the Caliph accused the Pope of looking for a fight. The Great Religious War was a long, and hard affair, but finally, control of the last Islamic area, the Southern Arabian Peninsula. Only a massive landing of troops at what is now Innocentoplis doomed the Caliphate, and Islam. The peacekeeping has been hard, as the Pope has banned all Islam from the Empire. However, some Islamics practice their religion in secret.
The major problem threatening the Papal Empire currently has been, that with the Islamic Infidels gone, could the Pope's demands be lightened? So far, the Pope has said that God shall enlighten him on when they could be, and that "doesn't seem likely to happen."
Major threats:
Many Muslims remain in the area, practicing in secret.
Technology:
Military technology is around OTL, but other things remain distant. As an example, no one bothered to discover America! Well, the Chinese or Japanese may have, but they don't bother with the west except to do some trading.
Medicine is also far behind.
Military:
The Papal Guard, a 1860-level technology force of about 300,000 stationed in the ISOTed area. There are several battleships crusing the ISOTed ocean areas as well.

Flag:
A Golden Cross, on a divided yellow-white square (similair to the one on the Vatican flag's background)
Muslim rebellers often use a crescent + star on green.

So I assume that mean most troops are armed with rifled musket and maybe a few armed with breachloaders. Presumably the "Battleships" are presumbaly comparable with HMS Devastation (http://www.cerberus.com.au/devastation_slideshow.html)

Name: Sultanate of Tombuktu
Capital: Tombuktu
Currency: Dirham
Type of Government: Theocratic Monarchy
Head of State: Sultan Mohammed VII
Demography: 20,000,000 inhabitands (ISOTed areas 250,000)
Languages: arabic; spanish, french and touareg spoken by minorities.
....

I have just noticed that this was not updated when my ISOTed area was enlarged.
The ISOTed Population is 12,000,000 million (I have lost the most desenly populated areas) and the isoted army comprises the german units and 95,000 men (most of them cavalry) but also some old 55 mm guns, a few armoured vehicles (for the commanders protection) and ten very old german fighters plus twelve used dive bombers (in bad conditions).
