Which nations do you think are the most likely to have communist governments at some point beginning in the 1920s? Vote for more than one if you want.

What no China, Japan, Korea, India, Indonesia, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, etc.?

I call Euro-centrism!

I'm not suggesting that you have to include every sinlge nation ever conceived in your poll. Obvisiously you have your own idea of what it should be about. I just wonder if no one is interested in the potential spead of communism anywhere else in the world, only in Europe.

Maybe I'll make my own poll.

Poland&Germany - after loss of Warsaw battle in August 1920 Poland became communist republic, and Soviets managed to "burn the flame of Revolution" in Germany.

Italy: Mussolini evolved from his socialist notions to communist intead of fascits - and took power.

I should have explained my reasons for the poll. I'm trying to determine which European nations are most likely to set up communist gov'ts in the 20s to assist me in the 'Different 20th Century' TL I'm working on. Knowing which countries have a 'communist bent' will help me work out which way I want the ATL to go.

There are going to be other communist nations outside of Europe, most notably Mexico, Argentina, and Turkey. But since the 'movement' started in Europe and had the largest power base there, I thought I'd work outward from there.

Well now, that makes a lot more sense.

Interesting that not one of us thinks Britain, The US or Turkey would go Red, at least not during the 20's.

I saw a timeline where a longer WWI causes a temporary British People's Republic to be formed, but nothing permanent.
