If you go to Sent Messages for example and check the box which says '97 messages' then go down to the actions and choose Delete, it doesn't delete all 97 messages as you would have expected, but only those on the first page of display

Not many places let you do that, and what are you using the pm box that much for? Instant messaging?

Well the point is it said 97 messages by the checkbox so I assumed when I checked it and clicked delete it would delete 97 messages, I don't find that particuarly counter-intuitive

Its only because people have told me that my quota is full AGAIN that I realised it only deleted about 30

As for why, well its better than an email in many circumstances

It is probably only deleting the first page, just do it a few times

Well, thats what I said ! But its not what IT said. It gave me a checkbox for all files, it was hardly unreasonable to assume they would all go if I used it

It's doing what you tell it to do, not what you want it to do
