My fellow delegates, representatives from foreign lands, and observers from distant lands, I welcome you to the great city of Calcutta, and to the official opening of the Pan-Eurasian Confrence. Let me be the first to tell you, it has been an honor being in correspondance with your great nations. My nation feels honored to be holding this great confrence, and we feel privledged to be in such a world, where we were extended the hand of friendship, so soon after our arrival.

Many years ago, in this great city, a man named Mahatma Gandi spoke of non-violent overthrow of government, only two years later, when the japanese army entered the capital of Calcutta, he was killed. My great nation suffered a great loss, and we mourned for many years afterwards. But, we pulled through, and created the country that you see today. Who knows what may have happened if gandi had not been killed that day in black 42'?

As I stand before you, I feel great honor being able to speak to you. Many of our nations lost so much in the process of coming here. Some, lost almost their entire nation, others, only a small fraction. But, no matter what you lost in the jump here... your loss will not be in vain! We must come together, as one Asia, as one europe, as one Africa, as one America, as one world, and help to re-build our shattered nations, to help each other, in founding alliances, to help each other out during times of need.

Ladies and gentleman, I come from a world, not of violence, but of a world of peace. Some nations, continued to press the hand of others, by use of violence. We learned to deal with that, and furthermore, we learned how to be accepting of each other. I hope by the end of this confrence... that we may learn to be more accepting of each other, and of ourselves. Because... it isn't the technology that we have, or the armies that we may have. It is the spirit of the people that really means something. The spirit to drive forth, and create a better world. That is the true power of nations, at least, in my belief.

As I stand before you today, this confrence originally started out as just a confrence for the Pan-Eurasian countries. But, nations from all over the world sit here, From Great Britain, to the Commonwealth, from the United States of America, to Qing China, from all over the world, you have come to witness the beginnings of a new world. And let me tell you, a brave new world, this one will be.

I officially do declare... this Confrence, of the Pan-Eurasian summit, officially opened. I leave the podium open to anyone who wishes to address the summit. Thank you.

I bring greetings from the people of the Bharat Confederacy to all the delegates at this Conference.

In the world we came from, Bharati Forces had just concluded a dreadful war with a totalitarian regime that ruled all of Central and Eastern Asia, from Korea to the Urals. Fighting in the name of democracy we and our allies the English and the Russ were, in the end, forced to use numerous nuclear devices to defeat the enemy.

In this strange new world we face even more challenges. Around us we see nations, some far more advanced than our own and some far less developed, all from different cultural and historical backgrounds. In such a world, the natural inclination towards conflict is magnified far beyond its usual levels as frightened and confused nations try to claim what they see as their rightful territory or settle imagined insults and greviances.

In the interests of peace, the nations of the Bharat Confederacy would like to declare in this international forum that we hereby give up any and all claims to territory outside the boundaries that were transferred.

Furthermore we would like to propose that this conference be used as a forum to set up an international organisation dedicated to peace where nations can settle their greviances non-violently, where less advanced nations can seek protection from the aggression of more advanced ones, where justice can be had for all.

We have seen the horrors of war in our old worlds. Let us strive to minimise it in our new one.

Thank you.

Greetings fellow diplomats.

My name is Ambassador Charles L. Pinkger, and I speak on behalf of the Dominion of Argentina Chile and Chancellor Zooey Mendez.

Her Honour would like to put forth the idea that the Dominion supports this drive to peace. The Dominion knows too well the cost of war and almost fell into one based on a border dispute with the Incan Empire.

It is that apparent possibility that Her Honour and my nation would like to push for some type of organized system to solve these disputes. Perhaps a world security force could be formed in order to police these areas.

But that idea is pushed aside for the simple act of getting together and addressing the current state that the world is in now.
