Your Majesty, Queen Victoria of England and Empress of Northern India,
The tri-centenial of any alliance is a great event in history, indeed, few such polital agreements last more than a decade, for paper has a tendancy to crumble when the spirit of such documents is neglected. But our pact, sealed in stone at the Observatory of Machu Pichu, has held strong, speaking of the bond shared between our people who, while seperate in culture and race, share a great will to power.
This united will has driven both of our peoples and nations to great feats, the colonisation of India, the exploration of the Pacific, the ties of trade and friendship binding our nations.
Of course, over the years the political field has changed. The Tawanitinsuyu would be unrecognizable to anybody from a few decades ago even, great factories have risen in our cities, railways now parallel the Great Roads, uniting the Inca Empire as a single entity. The British have gone from what some might say was a mere local power, to the greatest empire in the world, whose mighty fleets have owned the seas for nigh on two hundred years now. The Spanish have dwindled into a third rate nation, not even capable of holding their colonies from the likes of our dear northern neighbors.
But, through all this change, we have remained allies and friends, our two empires living in some degree of harmony despite the raging political climate and constant shifting nature of the globe.
It is therefore with great pleasure that I would invite your Majesty to attend a celebration to be held in Cuzco this time next year, where the tri-centennial re-signing of the treaty will be held, as a reminder of the unity and strength of our alliance.
