In OTL, Mosley and the BUF were basically just some thugs sprinkled with a few eccentrics who copied directly from Hitler or Mussolini. They didn't really try and use British traditions or symbols. They copied Mussolini's salutes and marches, they made a flag without anything behind it, and they even copied the name for their movement from El Duce.
WI, instead of their ultranationalist movement copying another nation, it adopts more British symbols and British politics, and doesn't simply try to transplant Mussolini into Britain? Would that help it succeed any more than it did in OTL?
