Yes, our country believes that collective security and free enterprising goes hand in hand and to insure both we think that a free trade agreement will be an advantage to both our nations. We have an ambassador of the United States in our borders but we gladly recognized your state government for the time being as the legitimate government of the above-mentioned country until your state renounces to that title. Details could be discussed at a later date.

At 4:35 PM, Cenabon time, a number of aircraft began slowly flying arouind the borders of the transported area of Litawija. They are broadcasting a message in Galetacâ, Britanicâ, Tauriscâ, Belaiscâ, Lepontacâ, Greuthingi, Norska, Sorbski, Itza, Quechua, Iber, Chinese (not translatable), Japanese (ditto), Daosiyan, Khushrevid Persian, Khushrevid Greek (not translatable but obviously Greek), Ancient Greek, and Sanskrit.

All the message says is: "If you can understand this, please respond."

Kirghiz

Event + 2 hours (6PM local): The government has placed all military forces on Level One alert, the highest level of readiness. Air Corps airships are in the air, scouting the new borders of Kirghiz. City Peacekeepers (think combination militias/police) are trying to impose order in the cities of southern Kirghiz, where massive fires rage out of control thanks to the severing of oil pipelines, electrical cables, etc. As of this time, Kirghiz thinks itself under attack, probably from the fanatical Empire of Vijayanagara.

New Hebrides

Event + 3 hours (11PM local): It took quite a while to figure out that contact with the rest of the Empire had been completely lost; the New Hebrides Fleet is preparing to put to sea. The Southern Imperial Army (based on Kalimantan) has been mobilized. All coastal units are on high alert. High-altitude aircraft are being launched to try and ascertain what is going on.

Hispaniola

Event + 1 hour (8AM local): Cuban fishing vessels have been fired upon by unknown ships off the coast of Florida. Overflights by strange-looking aircraft have been reported. The entirety of Hispaniola has been Mosaic'd, so they will likely not really believe what has happened until they send out envoys to their neighbors...

At 10:13 AM, local time, several military aircraft have left Andebrigacon (Montreal) air base, and have entred the airspace of the ISA, Commonwealth, New Saxonland, and the wilderness to the West. They retreat if confronted, and appear to be observing.

The power is out all over Nouiolitawija. Workers are attempting to start up very old military backup power systems in an effort to restore power.

The military has been mobilized, a state of emergency declared, and the government is trying to figure out how to ration the many scarce resources.

At 11:51 AM, the main radio station in Andabrigacon begins broadcasting in a number of languages, including Ancient Greek, the following message:

"Anyone that can understand the is message, please respond. We appear to have been relocated to an alien world, and are surrounded by unknown nations. We do not mean harm, but will protect our territory and interests. We wish to establish relations, trade, and figure out what has happened".

By sunset, power has not yet been restored, except to critical facilities (hospitals, military bases, broadcast centers, etc.) that have backup generators.

Empire of Japan(As 15)- Empire of China(AS 12) events leading to diplomatic meeting (Tokyo time)

Event + 30 minutes
Commercial flight from Japan to Formosa forced to turn around by unknown fighter planes.

Event + 45 minutes
Japanese NK-72 fighters (1) from IJAF Kadena (2) scramble in the direction of Formosa. All Japanese Armed forces put in full alert.

Event + 1 hour
Shots exchanged between Japanese fighters and unknown planes. One plane from each side shot down. No casualties on Japanese side but pilot have to bail over Formosan territory and captured almost immediately after landing. The opponent pilot died but that information was not known at the time.

Event + 1hour 20 minutes
The Japanese 1st Army HQ in Okinawa received message in both Chinese and Japanese (3) stating the following:
“We request a ceasefire with your nation for the time being until situation could be clear. The island of Formosa is part of the Chinese Empire and will be defended as such. Please refrain from further attempts of military action against our soil.”

Event + 1 hour 30 minutes
Text of message reached both Japanese GHQ and the Imperial Cabinet. After a half-hour cabinet meeting the following response was approved:
“We accept your request for a ceasefire. We consider the island of Formosa a valuable part of the Japanese Empire and at this time we consider your forces as invaders. Please explain your claim to Formosa.”

Event + 2 hours 20 minutes
Following message was received in different frequencies:
“The island of Formosa has been a part of our Empire since the end of the Second World War in 1944. Your nation should know that. Did your nation suffer an unexplained event over two hours ago? Please respond to last inquiry.”

Event + 2 hours 50 minutes
Japanese Cabinet entrusts Foreign office with negotiations. Their response to last message, now to know to be from a non-communist China(4), was the following:
“ What was World War 2? Formosa has been part of our Empire since 1895. Could your nation accept if we sent an emissary to verify your claim to the island? And yes, we suffered an unexplained event close to three hours ago.”

Event + 4 hours
Following message received:
“ Will accept emissary to verify our claim to the island. Inform us when they will arrive to Formosa. Please follow flight path Tokyo to Taipei without deviation. Also your pilot is under custody but in good shape and been treated under the Geneva agreements. Your emissary will be met by a member of our Foreign office to further discussions of the event.(5)”

Event + 6 hours
Japanese response:
“ Count Nokamura and his staff will be leaving for Formosa in three hours. Thank you for your chivalry with our pilot.”

1) Equivalent to F-22 fighter.
(2) Same place as OTL. Nice place for a base and make sense to build one there.
(3) Debriefing of pilot shot downed over Formosa at least let the Chinese known who their opponents were.
(4) Monitoring of civilian radio and other intelligence gathering let the japanese reach that conclusion.
(5) Chinese don’t want to admit over radio lines that they don’t know was going on and that parts of their territory are gone or under occupation by other nations.

-Farrider (1) scouts reporting from the foothills of the mountains south of Samarkand (2) report scattered but widespread forest fires. The whole area, formerly one of the most populous areas of the Khaganate, is now a tree-covered wilderness, with no signs of human life. And no signs that there has ever been human life. Whole towns and cities are simply... gone.

-Royal Air Corps Squadron 14, patrolling above the Caspian Sea, reports a massively industrialized Caucasus, much more so than it should be. Radio queries to the ground have returned an angry, harsh speech unlike anything known.

-Further investigations by linguists have confirmed that the language the unknown inhabitants of the Caucasus are using is a strange variation of ancient Germanic (a language extinct for close to five hundred years).

-Reports are filtering in from northern Farrider units of sightings of the ruins of cities in what should be eastern Russka (3). There is human life, but it appears to be uncivilized; some units have even reported being attacked by dirty, emaciated savages throwing rocks!

At noon, a large number of aircraft take off, mostly subsonic, propellor-driven spotting and search-rescue craft, and begin fly-overs of parts of the wilderness to the west.

The fact that Hannover's also the garrison for the 91st Airborne division doesn't hurt either.

Attention: Nation-states of the new European Continent

The Union of Visegrad (acting on behalf of itself and The Republic of Germany) would like to call the nations of Europe together. The Visegradian Air Force, acting on the directions of the Chief of the General Staff, has launched reconnaisance aircraft over the wasteland to the east and the 'Kaukasus.' Needless to say, the Visegradian government is extremely concerned over the presence of the slave-holding state of the Kaukasus.

Sixty years ago, the predecessors of the Union of Visegrad banded together for the very first time to extinguish the idealogy known as the 'National Socialist German Worker's Party' (or Nazi), the idealogy which continued to exist in another world and which now reigns supreme in the Kaukasus. The Union of Visegrad will not allow the Kaukasus to continue ignoring the most basic human rights.

Therefore, as of this moment, all diplomatic and economic relations are hereby terminated with the Kaukasus (in other words, we're going to quarantine that area until such time as a united Europe is willing to bring about their destruction). The Visegradian Air Force will patrol the skies above the wastelands to the east and all traffic bound for the Kaukasus will be rerouted to their home states.

The Visegradian government wishes ill to no country, but will not stand by while human rights are abused to the most extreme level in a European nation. The Visegradian government calls on all nations to come to the aid of the oppressed peoples of the Kaukasus and join the Armed Forces of the Union and the Republic of Germany in blockading that nation. Any perceived hostile action towards the Visegradian military by the Nazi powers in the Kaukasus will be met with overwhelming force by the Visegradian Air Force.

We call on all nations to join with the Visegradian government in one month in Warsaw to discuss the actions that should be taken against the Kaukasus. Thank you.

It is with shock and disdain that I watch you build your war machines. Countless millions have lost their lives, in the Event, and the related disasters that followed it. As an example, my nation is, even now, still recuperating from the unexplained phenomena that has engulfed us all.

It is at this time, with requests for a diplomatic solution being fielded by our Foreign Ministry, that the Union of Visegrad wishes to invite the Reichskomissariat Kaukasus, themselves, to send a delegate to our Conference. Our demands of the Kaukasus are simple:

1) Immediate recognization of the basic freedoms of human life, among them: freedom of speech, press, religion, protest, and the freedom from unwarranted arrest.

2) Immediate release of any and all slaves. (A "slave" defined as a person bound in servitude as the property of a person or state.)

3) Free and open elections to the entire adult population of Kaukasus, to be overseen by a range of nations from around the world to ensure the proper procedure.

If the Kaukasus truly wish to respect human rights and diplomatically end this crisis in a manner befitting of a civilized nation, than the Kaukasus will attend our Conference. They will concede to respect the most basic human rights and bring an end to this madness.

To Visegradian Government:

Your attempts colonial conquests are disgraceful. We barely realize what was happened and you have attempted to blockade the Kaukasus! In your worlds history your nation destroyed ours and was gained from it by rendering Germany your puppet. Know in your blood thirsty lust you have made it clear your intention to invade our nation and a home of Germans for three generations, an invasion that will result in a massive retaliation with atomic weaponry we do not want to result to.

As to your claim that we have in someway mistreated our Jewish populations, that is a propagandic lie. After the war they were given there own land and it was the Eastern Ukraine, an area that was not transported from our world. We are proud to say that our world’s Jewish Zionist movement was quite happy with this deal. As to your claims have oppressing the native populations; their low standard of leaving and occasionally rebellions against our government are totally of there own doing. Constant communist rebellion and sabotage have forced was to be harsh in our role, but not to the part have supposed genocide as suggested, again by this Visegradian Union.

We deny your invitation and encourage all other nations to do the same and, instead, we purpose a new meeting to be held in any other state capital to stabilize relations between the European nations. But, we do agree and say that the first two of your demands our already in place in the Reichskommissariat and the third is dangers to implicate because of the potential of Stalinist style Marxists, which, everyone knows, were and are far worse then all of the Fascist states put together and must be clamped down on.

To recap Visegradian crimes they have attempted to comment:

It appears that your intelligence is as faulty as you claim ours to be. No, in fact, the former Polish and Hungarian states did not annex the Czechoslovak nation without their consent.

Following the (Nazi) German annexation of the outer region of the Czech half of Czechoslovakia (known as the Sudetanland), the Slovak region became an independent nation. Same held true for the remaining Czech nation. When German leader Adolf Hitler, moved into the Czech region, and the governments of Poland, Hungary, and Italy announced their intentions to stop that German move, the Czechs were willingly (by way of referendum) annexed by Poland while the Slovaks were similarly annexed by Hungary.

The referendums were open to all citizens and a majority voted to join either Poland or Hungary for protection against Adolf Hitler's Nazi regime. Yes, it is true, not all wanted annexation and there was a dissenting minority, Poland and Hungary legally (and without either conflict or threats of warfare) annexed Czechoslovakia.

From what my intelligence chief tells me, your nation aggressively waged warfare in concert with (if not in alliance with) the Greater German Reich. Had it not been for their war on the European continent, according to the intelligence report, your own would have been opposed by Britain. According to my report, your war ended with the threat of conflict against you by Britain, an enemy of the Greater German Reich.

I don't pretend to know all these is to know about the histories of the various nations in this new world. If there has been any misunderstanding, I apologize. I was acting upon information provided to my government by your Foreign Ministry that, unfortunately, did not go into detail.

I am sure this is the problem that you, President Staron, have also encountered in making these allegations against our nation. The political state of North America in our universe was quite chaotic after the dissolution of what was known as the United States of America and the British Dominion of Canada. The Empire State to our east enjoyed the position of cultural capitol of the continent with the city of New York in their possession and coveted our industrial capacity to make themselves the premier power of North America. The former People's Collective, on the other hand, was a Christian Socialist nation that actively sought and received aid from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, formerly the Russian Empire, which sought to spread Communism across the world. Together, they looked to strangle our new nation in its cradle by encircling us with military alliances and issued letters of marque to air pirates that preyed upon our aerial shipping. Only when the Reich invaded the Soviet Union did we take the initiative and struck against the People's Collective. After the Collective had fallen, we then turned east against the Empire State. Our politicians of the time had, unfortunately, made the mistake of striking first in our war which aroused the British-led League of Nations against us. I will admit, we had wanted revenge against the Empire State for all the suffering they had inflicted on the ISA but, when confronted with the full might of the British Empire, we were forced to make peace.

I will remind you that you are the one that began this exchange of bitter accusations. Perhaps, in the future, we can avoid such unpleasantries with an exchange of historical texts and culture between our two nations so that we may more fully understand each other and
