An AH Challenge:
Can someone come up with a viable realistic POD which makes the Irish and Scottish not make a revolution in 1848? I know itīs possible to make them be beaten back, you just need the catholic nations, France and Spain not support them but I donīt know if thatīs possible. Maybe if France would have been more busy facing internal problems of their own, but I donīt know they kept pretty stable after the Republic wars ended in the Copenhagen pact.
You get plus points if you can somehow make Britain into a somesort of a superpower in the late 19th century.
