the time - 1307:

Philip IV, king of France, had recently come into possession of a region in what is now northeastern France....a region full of Templars.

He also owed a great deal of money to the Templars.

What if, instead of trying to destroy the Templars, Philip IV makes a deal with them -- agree not to make a nation of their own out of Philip's lands, forget about what he owes them, (and maybe a few other thigns)

thoughts?

If I may ask, is there a link or a title I should be on the lookout for? *curious*

thanks for the heads-up.

Hm, it's in the Writer's forum, so you have to be logged in to view it. But if you could write that you couldn't view it... strange.

The (revised) one isn't that different(in content) from the original. The original thread has earlier maps. I might write a new version sometime in the future. There's aslo a double blind thread about the Templars being suppressed.
