Just a silly little A.H. challenge out there, inspiried by all the recent discussion on the C.S.A. and the American Civil War. So here's the challenge: Create / Envinsion a slave revolt in the Southern U.S. - and a leader of that southern slave revolt - that closely parrallels the the one the romans faced during the Third Servile war against Sparticus as possible. Maybe including a resulting triumverate. ;P

It's unlikely, but if it did happen, nothing less than an early and bloody civil war would erupt. If the US Federal Government didn't move against them, the South would secede. If they did, then very possibly the Abolitionists of New England would have gotten together and seceded. If the latter were the case, my guess is that Europe would get involved very quickly, leading to the destruction of the US of A as a potential superpower.

It would be pretty a tough thing to bring about considering the Confederate States' restrictions on the slaves as far as weapons and stuff went.
