WHAT IF
All military sea-going craft, and all that contained within it, tomorrow, with all of its normal personnel, appeared on an ocean world?

The ocean world is 2/3 the size of Earth, and has 2/3 the amount of gravity. Its atmosphere is breathable, and all of the Earth's ocean ecosystem has been transplanted as well. There is no surface anywhere, except for...

All artificial islands go as well. This include oil platforms and all that jive. The oil fields located under such oil platforms have been reimbursed by abiogenic generation, and have an unlimited amount of oil.

Anyone? Anyone? Don't make me add in mutant sharks.

Odd, i'm just watching that...

guess the crew of the Exxon oil tanker don't grow to be the dominate pirates of the seas... pity.

Sure you've got oil and whatnot, but you'll be losing supplies and parts, by the end of a couple of months, you're shit out of luck.

Well, metal is more scarce, yes... but there is the possibility.

Blast, you got me there.
