What if Denmark (curent borders) is Isoted From 600 ad to 3000 years before to 2400 bc. How quickly will Iron age Vikings spread across Neolithic Europe.

I imagine that the vikings are going to move south and take over as much habitable land there ASAP.

However I don't see the viking dominance lasting too long. Before long the indigenous peoples are going to figure out ways of making weapons that can stand up to the Vikings.

First they will become overlords over the settled people that are around, any bunch of peasants who fancy themselves as nobles should be able to arm themselves well enough to sail out an conquer somone. Then the new agricultural technologys will create a masive population boom in northern europe. sending large waves of well armed migrants out from the areas around denmark across Eurasia. This will change history alot as they have a form of writing, runes, and viking ships may soon lead to northern europeans setleling iceland, greenland, and america.

It might be interesting to send them to some other dates such as 400bc, 1400bc, or 3400bc, as in the first 2 the will interact with civilazations from recorded history, although in the first date they will have less of an advantage, but they might make the Roman empire stillborne.
