WI Iron melted and alloyed as easily as does copper? It also is as easy to smelt as copper. The other steel additives like vanadium and chromium are also much more easily smelted and alloyed. Copper, tin all the other easily worked metals stay the same.
Stainless steel is about as easy to make as bronze.
How does this change the world. Can the Romans make skyscrapers now? or is there still more to it?
