Read this a VERY long time ago-early 60s. It was published in 1935 and posits a war(i believe) between Germany and Czezhoslovakia. Any one read this? How about you Landshark? It might have been an english book someone brought to the US from UK. :) :(

I've never heard of this one before or of it's author so I was somewhat surprised when a google brought up several listings for Sidney Fowler Wright, some of which revealed that he's still in print. One book, Deluge, written in 1928 has been reprinted half a dozen times since 1980 alone.

According to the bibliography that provided that information the book you mention is part of a trilogy called Prelude in Prague and at least part of it is available to read on the net!

Reminds me of a true story I read in an unsolved mysteries book about a real man who wrote a magazine article foretelling with remarkable accuracy the rearmament of Germany and the conquest of Europe in a second war within twenty years. Catch is that he wrote it in 1918, and predicted that another war would erupt around 38 or 39. Just thought I'd put that in.
