I believe I speak for both TyrannusZero and myself when I say that the stability of a certain other AH website will have a major effect on how often I post here. Well, that and whether I can get myself into one of those Mosaic Earth games without falling on my face. :o

Gotta tell you Tom, these guys are kind of crazy... or should I say insane or perhaps out of their gourds? But, there is also a huge intelligence base here. Some of the most knowledgable people I know attend this board. Very useful for those interested in alternate history.

Still, I'd venture a question that requires no response... why write or discuss alternate history? Once all timelines are said and done, they don't amount to much. Just a whimsical look into something that could have been. Figures and statistics for an imaginary world that add only a few iotas to the thought processes of a small audience...

But I am pessimistic. Continue. I am obsessed. I hope you are too. In obsession together we triumph, and ideas do not fail and sputter in the realization of worth, but build an insubstantial feeling of accomplishment and grandeur...
