1588- The Spanish Armada sets sail from Spain for England, only to find itself... several Thousand miles away, off the coast of Kyushu. There is now a wormhole somewhere off the northern coast of Spain that leads somewhere near Kyushu. What happens?

What do you think is more likely: Spanish Invasion of Japan or Japanese invasion of Spain?

I don't know, the Japanese could have a good chance of making trouble in Europe...

I put 10$can on the Armada bringing maritime ownage to the coastal daimyos and cities. But Japan, being very hilly and mountanous, it would be harder to beat up the rest of the Nihonjin as they would fleed and hide inland...

It's actually not that implausible.

There was a Spanish plan to invade China at the time. Victories in the Americas meant every Spaniard wanted to think BIG. You couldn't plan bigger than conquering China and turning everyone Christian. The original idea was to send the Armada to The Phillipines and hire Japanese mercenaries. The defeat of the Armada against England made the plan moot.
