Well for the Azerbajani's life is going to suck. The world is like wtf? Most would try to seek a reason why a rather stable piece of land suddenly went under (not to mention for some odd reason their non-contiguous region suddenly flooded into a large lake) some would try to find a religious reason.

Armenia is happy, direct access to the Caspian, a new huge fresh water lake to get water from (mortal enemies gone). Life is good and someone comes along and sinks a oil rig and starts pumping the crude...yeah so Armenia gets off big the rest of the world will forget about the when next disaster hits...or if Brad and Angela breaks up or something.

Armenia isn't going to be too happy, after all the disputed area is probably sunk with Azerbaijan.

what happens to Nagorno-Kharabakh (sp.?), that Armenian enclave in the middle of Azerbaijan.... is it sunk too, or is it a shiny new island?
