What about the best seller DAVINCI CODE? Consider it AH? How good is it?

I haven't read it but I would say it's secret history. I was thinking of buying it, but many of the themes have been used in fiction and non-fiction for decades. The Kushiel' books by Carey are fantasy AH though. In OTL some French kings claimed to be descendants of Jesus and Mary M, but in the Kushiel books it's true apparently. I haven't read them. I have the 1st, will read it soon.
