I had some trouble with posting maps...

In the preview pane it shows "ATTACH", then a number, then another "ATTACH".
So I'm changing the number just to see what happens. The number here is
10187; does that mean that many maps have been posted here?

When I change the ATTACH number I get a map which I didn't post.

But the map being shown is the map which I did post. Hm.

just use the Manage Attachments button just below this typing box, its much easier
