As 1 of the resident 'mad posters' on this board- maniacal laugh- I'd like to anounce my intention to attempt to post as many new entries on the Discussion Board as poss.

Well, I, as the top thread starter here, have decided to tone it down (please stop applauding!) and also, I am getting interested in some other things, so DominusNovus should soon have more posts than me. Besides, I've started threads on almost every historical turning point I am interested in.

I am happy that people start threads, after all it gets a bit boring and dull if no one does anything, but as a purely personal note I prefer a couple of well thought-out detailed threads from a poster than half a dozen vague outlines I don't know how to engage with. Of course, the latter is better than none at all !

It's tough for me to come up with "well thought out" threads, since my history background is minimal and one sided, as well as being decades old. When I try, my scenarios quickly get ripped apart.

Anyone else think the board couldn't take so many posts? See the new board is x times better than the old board but the new board has 5/12 of the posts of the old board, therefore x divided by 5/12...

i think the board being down caused brain damage, nevermind me, walla walla, ramalama ding dang, give peace a chance, cucu, cucu, cu-coo, cu-coo
