Hello, could someone suggest a suitable fictional name for a south east asian country. It would be a mixture of Thailand, Burma and Cambodia in cultures and ideas.
Cheers

How about Asiatica or Carbombya?

Those countries are Austro-Asiatic, Sino-Tibetan and Tai-Kadai for language families. That's like saying a nation is like a mix of the Basque, Hungarians and Italians. Except of course Burma has more ethnicities than Austria Hungary. Maybe you could be a bit more specific as to which language group they'd be in? (That would help with figuring out a name.)
I don't mean to sound harsh or anything.:o

Predominantly a Thai language base, but I will be taking a mixture of history and cultures from Burma and Cambodia.
This is for a submarine TL that I am writing and have thought about being published.

I'd ask Xynrax or tormsen. They know tons about SE Asia. This list (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Ethnic_groups_in_Southeast_Asia) might also be helpful.
Cheers,
