Anyone here tried doing a TL on Mamluk Egypt?

As the tins says, has anyone here tried to do a timeline focusing on the Mamluk Sultanate of Egypt? Or even done a TL that did more than mention them, and they played an important part?

Seconded. They are a very important rivals for the Roman empire.

About a TL centered on them, I never crossed one.
