So how do we get this map for 2005? My guess is that we see the constittuional convention end up a BAD farce. I could see The south ends up setting its own confederation by 1690 and excluding the rest of the nations from the northwest territory? The mid-atlantic states end up slowly confederating. New england of course goes off on its own path. Perhaps during the napoleonic wars, new england promotes revolution in the carribean to destabilize franco-spanish claims tyhere and the nations eventually join new england?

Can I see your basemap?
Anyway, maybe the Declaration of Independence bans slavery, and the South walks out?

I have two questions:
1.Does this map presuppose a strong British presence in Central America?
2.Why wouldn't the British governmnet simply incorporate the New England colonies into British North America when Canada confederates in 1867.

This isn't a britain wins the ARW map. The US falls apart during the constitutitonal convention.
