This one, by me and Sean Swaby, shows a more de facto version of the world in 1914 - it shows spheres of influence etc.
Pale red = British Empire
Teal = United States
Blue = France
Grey = Germany
Pale yellow = Austria-Hungary
Gold = Russia
Lime = China
Yellow = Japan
Beige = Spain
Pale green = Portugal
Black = Ottoman Empire
Brown = Italy
Orange = Holland
Pale blue = Belgium
Aqua = Denmark
Pale purple = Tribal lands
Purple = Other independent countries

Indeed, the Ottomans didn't control as much of the desert as modern Syria/Iraq/Jordan do. Also, the Nejd had not expanded to that northern region.

As suggested I fixed the borders of the Ottomans a bit, nixed the Nejd, Spanish North Africa, and I also corrected a part of the border between Germany and AH.
Any others?

If you want to split hairs, some of the country names are a bit off (in 1914 it's Austria-Hungary or the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the British Isles are always labelled 'the UK' rather than as part of the British Empire).
I do like the way you've put the countries' capitals on.

Why is Portugal displayed upwards and not downwards? Also, check your coloration of Tangier
