It is 1991 in Moscow. The coup plotters are a little less inept.
Gorby and family are dead, not under house arrest. They do have 2-3 loyal
batallions and crush Yeltsin right off the bat. They now rule the streets
of Moscow in daylight hours. Now what?

I agree with Civil War. The Ukraine and Byelorussia offically breakaway, along with the remain SSRs. Fighting breaks out throughout Russia. Eventually one faction or another gets it's hand on a nuke. Can we say funtimes?
