Has anyone noticed that when you try to put text for a link when using the 'insert link' button, that option is no longer given? The only box that appears is the one asking for the address. Or am I doing something wrong?

I noticed it too and asked a similar question right after the move to 3.5, but wasn't answered. If you'll notice, the text in blue that shows up after you fill in the link is just a repeat of the address itself. After you create the link, just delete that blue text and fill in whatever text you want.

Replace the address inside the quotes, or the one outside it?

Outside of the quotes, the second one.

Works for me. Type some text, highlight it, click "insert link", then type in the URL...
