Signature problems re hyperlinks

Is there any way you can tell the signature not to count the hyperlink characters towards the 120 total ? It wouldn't affect how the signature appeared on mine, other than the links would be enabled, whereas now if I am to get both in I have to have them as just text. Just a humble bumble of a request :)
