The entire ANZAC expeditionary force in Turkey about to be involved in the Aug 1915 attacks at Lone Pine and the Nek, find themselves ISOTed to just outside Istanbul in 1453 during the Ottoman siege, before the city's about to fall. What impact do these WWI-era soldiers have on the Byzantines' defence of their capital city ?

Finding a complete lack of good beer the Australians go on a rampage, destroying most of the Ottoman army and the city of Constantinople before marching in the direction of Germany based on the knowlage the there may be some beer there. :D
On a more serious note I would think them more likely to side with the Bayzantines than the turks.
