The ASB are having Fun with you . They are going to Send you Back in time to 1942 were your nation is fighting .
You may take two Co's of your choise from the country you live in back to that time . You are given the rank of Major and given over command of this unit .

So what are your unit's .

Two companies isn't a whole lot of troops, so I'm going to stay out of the true fighting. Instead, I'll get two companies worth of Spec Ops and support, and see if we can adjust post-war policy by way of removing prospective dictators before the Cold War gets off the ground.

I'll take to companies of Machine gun and anti-tank units and see how I can get to Europe.

I would rather take a Aumor Division.

Take two companies of Delta Force or Navy Seals, and end up in the Philippines, or Malaya in February of 1942.

If I show up in the Philippines, I'd give the Japanese all sorts of trouble, perhaps not enough to stop them from taking over the Philippines, but enough to bleed some of their units to the point that they can't operate, making them send in more men, and delaying their drive into the Dutch East Indies by having to send troops and equipment to the Philippines. If I can do enough damage, it might even give MacArthur a chance to either do some sort of limited attack, or establish a semi descent defensive position that he can hold for a while.

If I show up in Malaya, that area has already been conquered, so if the Japanese start having troubles there, it could set them back a bit. Maybe some Seals can sneak into Singapore harbor and destroy a few ships or something.

Difficult question, as I am a german and do not want the germans to win WWII.

IŽd somehow try to evoke an uprise of the military, probably giving the stauffenberg-group some hints. And what would I use my troops for?

I'd take along a squadron of Leopard 1 tanks that we currently have (we are getting m1a2s eventually but not soon enough. And also take along a company of SAS.

Since the Leopard was introduced in 1962, it'd be fairly decent, ship off evaluation tanks to the USA and the UK and you might see some better allied tanks by 1944 I suppose. Deploy the SAS to malaya to attack the japanese supply lines. May be able to cripple them enough to hold singapore.
