At first it looked like we weren't going to have many entries for this challenge, but we had a flood of them in the last few days - hopefully we'll have a similar level of turnout for the next contest!

I was gonna vote for Xwarq, just because of the sheer awesome factor, but since he didn't qualify, I have voted for General Finley.

The quality of the scenario, I felt, outweighed the fact it was on a standard UCS basemap. ;)

Three really stand out for me. B_Munro's is the coolest idea IMHO. For most aesthetically pleasing it is a toss-up between Krall and Leistungsfähiger Amerikan. I went with LA.

Still, Krall did that more or less from scratch, while it looks like Amerikan just edited a preexisting map.

That's true. But it was a good edit. Plus I think it was more in the spirit of the contest. It was reviving an ancient long-dead empire.

Lots of good entries, but I voted for Kaiphranos on the basis of the creativity of the scenario, and the relative rarity of the subject matter.

I remember commenting and making suggestions for severl things of Finley's, though I thought that the map was older. A nice one, though KRall and Mr. J have some that go beyond.

My vote went to Kaiphranos.

It was IMO the most unique and original of all of them, was good aesthetially and really I think captured the spirit of the contest.

Krall's was my second choice.
