Oh yah, there's an entire world out there. Its just 700s

And here's a post regarding an exspediton I sent a few weeks ago.

What was once Capetown, South Africa
The ships had arrived, and, as they had feard, the worst had come. The town had disspeered. Not a port, not a soul remained. Despite the calamity, the Dutch had exspected this. After all, what can you trust in this stupid new world we live in?

They had brought the necessary tools and seeds to start a city, and severall supply ships would be due over the next few months. But it would be hard for the settlers to adapt so quickly with so little, especially on such a rough port. Luckily many of them were from the Orkeney's, and had grown use to such hazards living in such poverty.

A French Trading Ship's Captain letter to Port Authorities:

We found New Orleans to be empty, simular reports by smugglar ships off the coasts of Cuba and British America leads us to believe that the colonies were abandon, either destoryed in the event or something else. A few of the men suggest that we should start gathering colonists to takeover the almost empty Caribbean.

Within a few days we managed to sail down to the Yuctatan Penilsula hoping that some villiage would be there for us to stalk up on supplies for the trip back. We were surprised to find a fully operational and indepedant Mayan Presence there. We attempted to communicate but to no avail. A few of the men raided their flieds and brought back Maize, while others went hunting in the jungle. Fresh water was found in Venezula as we decided to head back home. The whole expirence has left an odd taste in my mouth, but as I understand it we will be able to talk with the other traders that visted Acadia soon. It is our hope to rekindle the New World.

To the King of France I wish for premission to set up a colony on the Gulf coast. We wish for a sizeable population to rebuild the New World, and prehaps an Army to stop the rise of the Aztecs.

The Mayans were better organised, and perhaps more advanced than the Aztecs. They were also less centralized. . . maybe we should give them a fighting chance. . .

Copan, OTL Honduras
The strangers came to them, attempting to trade worthless beads and dull knives. They claimed to be reppresentatives of some God, though who could believe them? They were sickly white and had weapons that, though loud and fast, took ages between shots. A band of them were quickly caputured, and their goods confiscated.

They knew none of the language, and were therefore worthless except as entertainment. One must admitt though that it was humous watching the pale warriors attempt to grasp the game as a exspierienced team of local slaves quickly overcame them.

The sacrifice was a splendid afair, and one priosner was let go to send a warning message to the invaders. It was seen that though their skin was white, their blood was very red.

A Letter to the King of Egypt

"...We have recently traveled down the Nile River, and were shocked at what we found... The nations of Nubia are not Islamic- Indeed, they are primarily of the Coptic faith also common in your Kingdom. There are, however, a number of Arab miners...

We have met with several of the local kings, and many were surprised to see a Christian nation ruling Egypt again- But as we have seen before, they claimed it was less than a hundred years since Islam came to Egypt! It is thus my hypothesis that as nations from other worlds came together, Africa came from around the year of 700 AD. This also fits with the mention of an "Ummayad Caliphate"...

...Due to the Arab Muslim military buildup, and our interests in maintaining and spreading the Faith of Christ, in whatever form it may take, Coptic in this case... I suggest that Your Majesty make it clear that the Nubian nations are under the influence of the Kingdom of Egypt and the Knights of Malta..."

I might be wrong but I'm sure the Mayans weren't the ones sacraficing. In fact I'm pretty sure they shared little culture. Besides they are likely to meet strangers with hospitality. Do you want to inspire a French Cortes?

I know lots about the Myans. Very scared of strangers. Sacrificing after the games. Yah, thats them. They were actually quite a racist society.

And yet they were conquered by the Aztecs.
