Actually, Hainan Island wasn't ISOTed with Karelian China, it was conquered post-ISOT.

I was just wondering how it looked like when we started...

PS: Galba, I also thought that you had occupied it later.

I want to see it when it ends. Is possible this could continue. After the war if enough interest exist we could have another fast forward and fight WW2 in the 1920's?

I'm not really certain how...a lot of it though is merely alteration of what already exists.

Here's the corrected 1886 map

Here is a map of roughly what it would have looked like if, instead of the ASBs placing the ME7 ISOT on our globe, they instead used something more like the Empire of the Midnight Sun's world, where the icecaps are melted (or at least partly, I'm not entirely certain what level this would be.

Looks like my nations end up lucky.

To a degree, yes.

Of course, everyone has lost most of their port cities....

Karelia mostly ended up lucky, but lost it's lands in China, and New Guinea isn't great either.

Armenia-Trebizond may have lost Trebizond (I'm not really sure), but it's in a prime position to take land from Russia if Russia falls apart...

A possible ME7 1899 for the Water World version of ME7?

Constantinople is gone- I don't know if the British would still be in Greece. You might see a more expansionist Armenia- The Trapezuntines were the ones who came up with the "take only the more Christian coasts"... the inland Armenians are in charge, and may expand more...

But the straits aren't and neither is Greece, so the Brits will still be there, I think. Though with the secondary possible exit through the Baltic, it is less vital, as well as there being a second exit from the Med to the Atlantic.

Given that Nippon is one of the most uncommitted in our ME 7, in this I think they would be taking a hard look at Amur Island.

Canada gets more and warmer Hudson Coast, and a South coast where the lakes now are open to the Gulf. otherwise just loses a little bit around the edges,

Don't know. Use it, I imagine.

I find it interesting that the stuff being written in British held Denmark reads more like Vietnam or Iraq than any resistance to occupation I recall from the turn of the 20th century.

My fault, since if I recall, this map is based off my early map in the old map thread? And I believe I used the modern Austro/German Border...

Yes, but in the Naples Congress it was decided to throw Baden-Wurrtemburg in as well... I wonder where the capital will be? After all, Munich I believe is in the Austrian Zone.

then the capital will be Stuttgard which was the biggest city in Baden-Würthemberg to that time and only Munich was larger

I took the 1899 map and put it under a the 1886 map. This shows what happend to the NPC Areas which would have been in White. It still shows all the beginning nations.

Yeah, too bad the paint program on this computer can't use anything but Bitmaps... or I would have gone into more colors, not dumbing this down.
