Flemish/German treaty

Due to the the haphazard nature of our current possiton, and the fear of Communist Agression, the Unified Liberal Kingdon of Flanders is prepared to offer this treaty of friendship and defense:

Article I: Economy

Flanders has historically been a economic protectorate of France. Do to the exstreme socialist nature of the current government in France, we do not wish to continue such an arrangement. We encourage German bussiness and trade to enter our country, and for you to lend us a giding hand economically. (in other words, we become more or less a satelite nation)

Article II: Military
The German army will be allowed to serve and act in our borders, and we encourage them to help defend our western boundry with Western Europe.

Article III: Foreign Policy
If ever Western Europe, or indeed any other nation tries to denny us our freedom, your empire will assist us in overcomming them. Likewise, if your empire is ever at war, our nation will send divisions to assist you.

Article IV: Colonies
We shall recognise each others colonial possesions, an make no attempts to take each other's posessions through military, diplomatic, or economic means.

As drafted and agreed to by the Flemish Senate, in ocordance with the Prime Minister and King, and signed by the German Empire
