Tommorow morning all human life in Africa simply vanishes buildings, animals, plants are still their just no people.
What happens?
Other than the fact that China now has the perfect solution to its population problem...

Try thirteen million.

Worldwide stats--people living with AIDS- 42 million

Number of those inside of Africa--about 29 million.

The rest would however be colonies of other nations

Do the Africans and all their stuff fall into Equatoria (with China and Russia and all the other ISOTed places?)

I think this could start a religious movement. God removed the Africans for a purpose! It must mean the KKK was right! Yeah, I think that would suck.

The People's Republic of China, Russia, Japan, the EU, The United States of America and Brazil become Colonial Powers overnight.

Or conversely--they were Raptured out to heaven and the rest of us poor schlups are stuck on earth to wait for the seven years of tribulations....

What do you mean, "become?" All of these except Brazil have been colonial powers within the memories of some still living, and the PRC is still colonizing Tibet to this day.

Of 25 EU member countries atleast 12 have not been colonial powers.
But otherways I think I agree. Also many other countries like Australia, India will try to crap some part of now empty continent. That would be quite a mess, maybe few small wars would happen.

Israel, and with the rest of the world supporting, pressures the palestinian population and even the Arab Israelis to move to what was Libya. The once nationless people become oil tycoons on the scale of Kuwait as all sanctions are lifted, and their are fewer people living in the area.

in the short term, it would be a disaster for the world's economy, as Africa produces a lot of strategic minerals (particularly S. Africa). The resources would still be there, the extraction machines and plants are still there, but the trained crews for removing them are all gone. It'll take some time, but some of these areas are going to be reoccupied. I can't imagine the world will just let SA sit empty, as it is a treasurehouse of minerals. However, places like the Congo and the Kalahari are likely to remain empty (or nearly so), as these are marginal areas with few resources anyway... maybe the UN will declare vast areas of low utility to be world nature parks...

Gabon, a huge producer of oil would be occupied by the USA to bring down the US's depdance on foreign oil. :)

It would be very hard cheese for the Afrikaaners. Very hard cheese indeed.

The Afrikaaners would be gone along with the rest of Africa
