Australia will not be very happy about Guantanamo bay.
However as a trade off Australia now has some nice caribbean real estate

That might do something funky to the Gulf Stream. With Tasmania blocking a little bit more than Cuba, the UK is going to have cold weather, while Spain is going to overheat.

How bout dropping Tasmania in the Middle of the gulf and Cuba north o Libya. How would the Cubans and Europeans react? And more importantly, where would the boat people go?
