Found terminology page and that helped some, thanks. Really need to decipher abbrevs. like POD, "point of divergence". Got that one:o. Any other widely used Abbrevs. I should know?
Thanks, Lalorax

Firstly, welcome to AH.com!
Here are some abbreviations you may come across on here:
TL = timeline
TTL = this timeline
ITTL = in this timeline
OTL = our timeline
IOTL = in our timeline
FBWI = Future Blind What If (in which a person creates a scenario based in the future, without telling people what happened in the time in between now and the time of the scenario)
DBWI = Double Bline What If (I believe this is where a person creates a scenario based in the past or present in an alternate history world, without telling people what has happened between the POD and the time of the scenario)
I hope this helps!

Oh, Frabjous Day! Thank you, this helps so much. You, Sir(?) are a most Honorable Gentleman, indeed. Forgive my nosiness, but Olney, England? I am Western Stateside across the Pond.

Ah, thanks Thande. I'm afraid I fall under the abbreviation of NoobWI with my Constantine thread starter. BWTF. Gotta start somewhere. The link is much appreciated, and Bejezzus you guys are clever. I've never seen any site as intricate/evolved as this.
