What if, during the last war between Alba Longa and Rome, the Curiatii triplets of Alba Longa managed to defeat the Roman Horatii?
Or, if we don't want to go off of history that could simply be Roman myth, Alba Longa defeats Rome.
Would Alba Longa do to Rome what Rome did to Alba in OTL? If so, what might happen in Italy?

What did Rome do to Alba Longa? I thought the Romans incorporated A-L into their polity as equals, since they're both (theoretically) of Trojan blood.
Or am I getting the story confused with the Sabines?

Well, the city of Alba Longa itself was destroyed, but the Alba Longans were allowed to move to Rome itself.
The Sabines are something else entirely...

Ah. I know after the Rape of the Sabine Women, the Romans and the Sabine men reached an accomodation where they'd share power in a joint polity. I think some of the early kings of Rome were Sabines.

I'f I am not mistaken Aba Longa...was at the time of it's destruction was incontrol of the Latin Leauge. Could the Curatti triplets after suffering an Phyrric Victory over the Romans, to convience it's brother city states to take Rome out? We Might see an more unified Latin front against the Etruscans under the banner of Aba Longa?
