Suppose Edward can't marry Joan of Kent for what ever reason you like. Who are his other options, and what are the implications of the choices?

Hmm well there is Phillipa's niece Elisabeth of Hainaut, but more importantly Jeanne of Brittany is available and she is the daughter of Edward III's good chum John of Montfort who he has just put on the ducal throne of Brittany.
Could lead to some interesting repercussions.
Whoever he marries there will certainly be no OTL Richard II and his unfortunate reign.
