This is possibly not an ASB, as I could see it being done with a virus in a few decades, but...

WI it becomes impossible for anyone to state anything other than the truth. People *can* decline to say anything if asked a direct question, but they cannot say anything untrue or evasive. What would the political and personal ramifications be? Could society continue? Would anyone ever be able to find sex partners again?

Problem comes when nutters tell the truth as THEY see it... and others believe them.

D'uh, is it appropriate to mention the H****r word ??

At least now we're some-what protected by cynicism...

Nik: Good point. Only because someone firmly believes something it doesn't mean it's true. Hm, would be interesting to know how many televangelists really believe what they say. *eg*
