WI looks could kill?

ok its a very common WI, said every day by ppl all over the world. WI glaring at someone in a kind of medusa way, could kill or injure them?

I had an experience a few yrs back of 1 chick glaring at me in a restaurant when I referred to all the females I was with as chicks, and she didn't like that. So I probably wouldn't be around now if that was the case. ;)

(that was in Alice BTW, and everybody was sayin i liked that particular chick, too)
