You get to create real life versions of up to ten cartoons, which will appear in an area "appropriate" to them that you choose. All "significant" characters show up, but not "crowds of thousands".
Here are my choices:
1) Astroboy (Tokyo)
2) Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM version) (Cleveland)
3) Fraggle Rock (Mammoth Cave)
4) Beany and Cecil (Chesapeake Bay)
5) Top Cat (New York, NY)
6) Alvin and the Chipmunks (Los Angeles)
7) Underdog (Washington DC)
8) Raccoons (London, Ontario)
9) Yogi Bear (Yellowstone)
10) Woody Woodpecker (Seattle, Washington)
What are your choces? What results?

1)GI Joe - operating under NATO jurisdiction
2)Superfriends(the cheesy 70s one) - New York City
3)Scooby Doo & Friends - Denver, Colorado
4)Ren & Stimpy - California
5)Smurfs - central Europe
6)Thundercats - Brazil
7)Robotech (2nd series) - Japan
8)Spiderman(the classically cheesy 70s one) - New York City
9)Duck Tales - New England
Yes, I'm showing my age by my programming choices. :p

My choices:
1) TRANSFORMERS- the entire world
2) THE PHANTOM- West Africa
3) BUNJI (a local Australia cartoon from here in the NT from 10 yrs back, about a local young Aboriginal boy and his comical experiences)- Darwin and environs
4) BATTLE OF THE PLANETS- Canada
5) HERCULOIDS- outback Australia
6) CENTURIONS- Afghanistan
7) CAPTAIN PLANET AND THE PLANETEERS- South America
8) DINO-RIDERS- within North America
9) MANDRAKE- Sydney
10) M.A.S.K- the entire world
Besides the obvious effects of the likes of TRANSFORMERS continuing to wage the Cybertronian Wars on Earth and the Dino-Riders continuing to utilise dinosaurs to fight the evil Krulons, I could see the Phantom really fighting the hardest to make a difference in Africa's continuing civil wars and other strife. And what about the Centurions taking the war to the Taliban in Afghanistan ?

Michel Hellsing is London. I suppose the Vatican would be effected too...
I can't think of anything specific, some high technology though largly peacful places and some sort of anime full of girls that in the real world would be mega hot (if there is one thing this world needs its more eye candy)

Wait? What about the Simpsons? I mean, the line between "Main characters" and "cast of thousands" is so blurred between that one I sometimes think that Comic Book Guy could be more main character then Maggie is.

Diamond,
Do you mean Spider-man and his Amzing Friends (Firestar and Iceman are his Amazing friends) or are you referring to the Spider-man cartoon that came before that with the catchy theme song:
Spiderman, Spiderman,
Does whatever a spider can
Spins a web, any size,
Catches thieves just like flies
Look Out! Here comes the Spiderman.
Is he strong? Listen bud,
He’s got radioactive blood. Can he swing from a thread
Take a look overhead
Hey, there There goes the Spiderman.
If that is the one you mean, then that one is from the 60's, not the 70's.
I am going to have to think long and hard about this one. Does hentai count? :p ;)

Well Maggie is almost every episode, just not doing much. The Simpsons would most likely include the Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, and maybe Ned Flanders and Grandpa Simpson.

Torq: I meant the latter, the one with the great song. Now that I think about it, yeah, it must have debuted in the 60s. It had to have been the very late 60s tho.
I remember watching it as a 4 or 5 year old, and that was in 1976/77. But: I remember that it was on in the afternoons, a PRIME time for kiddie programming. Was it popular enough to take a slot like that from a first-run show?
Not that it really matters, but now I'll be thinking about the damn thing all night. Thanks. :D

Ah fuck--now you got the damn song running in my head now!
Anybody here remember Rocket Robin Hood? (same guys made the 60s Spiderman--went so far as to reuse entire backgrounds and even stories from each other)
Damn--we're REALLY showing our ages now, Diamond!
